Despite endless awareness campaigns, bullying and cyberbullying continue to rise across Europe. The truth is simple: children already know bullying is wrong information alone does not change behavior.
Bullying is deeply connected to social rewards , peer pressure , and how children manage internal struggles like anxiety or insecurity. Today, social media accelerates this, rewarding aggression and reducing empathy through digital distance.
That is why the Erasmus+ PreMedBullying project moves away from purely theoretical workshops. We focus on practical, emotionally realistic materials that develop:
🤝 Empathy and communication.
🧠 Emotional regulation and support.
🏫 Healthier school cultures and active bystander intervention.
Real change requires communities that teach children how to treat themselves and others with dignity and respect.
